Big Red Barn Farmer's Market founder Carey Guhlke-Falk says she appreciates each vendor who participated, as well as the support of the community and those who bought tickets. Planning for next year's event is already underway.

To say last Saturday's first annual Big Red Barn Farmers Market's Farm to Table dinner was a success is an understatement. The anticipated event, held at the Big Red Barn, 2 miles east of Davenport, focused on community and connection, and featured the local farmers market vendors in each of its 5-courses. With 38 ticket-holders in attendance, the long table through the breezeway of the Big Red Barn was packed. Attendees were served at the table by market volunteers while local musician, Bob Whitmore, provided entertainment.
