INCIDENT LOG

Editor’s note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

Oct. 14: A Sprague man reported he was unable to get into his own house.

A man reported a abandoned boat trailer left at the Mountain View Cemetery in Davenport with no plates on it.

An Edwall woman reported that her daughter threatened her and called her names on the phone.

A student was locked out of their car at the intersection of Wood and Sprague.


A caller reported that someone drove on his freshly seeded wheat field.

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office called to report that they have Jorge Daniel Rodriquez, wanted on a Lincoln County District Court warrant, ready to transport.

An abandoned car was reported and towed.

A Davenport man called to request security checks be done at his property.

A man called to report that his daughter, 14, left high school without permission again with her boyfriend.

Oct. 15: The mother of the girl from the above entry called to report that her daughter texted her saying she was being held against her will by her father.


Spokane County Sheriff’s Office called to report that they have Joshua James Tonasket, wanted on a Lincoln County District Court warrant, ready to transport.

A Davenport caller reported that a garbage disposal truck sped around a corner and almost hit her children.

The high school in Wilbur reported that two students fought.

An Almira man reported that two men shot a bird while standing in the middle of the roadway.

A Mead, WA. caller requested a welfare check be done on her sister, who lives in Lincoln County.

A man called to say he thinks he might have heard gunshots.

A woman in Odessa reported a trespasser hunting on her property.

A woman called to request help be sent to an 91-year-old man’s house because he had fallen.

A man reported that someone passed him at over 95 MPH on SR 2.

Oct. 16: An abandoned car was reported.

A caller reported a suspicious car with two people in it near a park.

American Auto in Edwall reported an abandoned car with no plates.

A Davenport man called to complain that his neighbor had cars parked on the street.

An Edwall man called to report he heard someone hunting at night.

Oct. 17: A caller reported an unoccupied car in the roadway in Creston.

A caller reported a civil disput with their ex over their daughter.

A woman from Spokane, who was in Lincoln County, called to report that a man in dark clothing was acting suspicious and had a coffee cup full of blood.

A verbal dispute between a husband and wife was reported.

A Wilbur man reported a suspicious car.

Oct. 18: Someone with a cell phone called to report an assault. The call dropped. Callbacks were not answered.

A welfare check was requested on someone in Sprague.

A Wilbur man reported a possible DUI. He said a car was driving with no lights at varying speeds.

A woman in Davenport reported a suspicious male in the Safeway parking lot.

Oct. 19: A caller reported a car with British Columbia plates was passing a lot of cars at excessive speeds.

A man reported that someone painted a pentagram on his truck.

Caller reported suspicious activity at their old residence.

JAIL BOOKINGS

Oct. 14: Justin Joseph Anderson, Missoula, Montana, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

Jorge Daniel Rodriquez, Spokane, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff Office on a charge of no contact/protection order violation.

Oct. 15: Joshua James Tonasket, Keller, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff Office on a charges of residential burglary, theft in the first degree and stolen property trafficking in the first degree.

Oct. 17: Shane David Holman, Moses Lake, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff Office on a charge of driving while license is suspended.

Nicholas Dan Henderson, transient, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff Office on a drug related charge.

Oct. 18: Jessica Danielle Sumner, Grand Coulee, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

From Oct. 14 to 20, four individuals were held in the Lincoln County Jail under contract with the Washington State Department of Corrections, one for the Kalispel Tribe of Indians and one for the City of Airway Heights
