Late in the game, younger members of the team continue to make strides offensively. Joshua Valverde (23) goes up for the pass as Chase Kissler (20) backs him up and Collin martin (14) Colton Messer (15) and Austin Iverson (16) stand ready to assist.

Odessa quarterback Camden Weber was back in action after missing a few games due to an injury. Jett Nelson, who had stepped up as QB while Weber was injured and capably led the Tigers through the playoffs was the starting QB and shared the spotlight with Weber in this championship game.

Josh Clark and Marcus King were the team's workhorses, carrying the ball 16 and 19 times, respectively. King scored six touchdowns and four 2-point conversions, all of them rushing, for a total of 380 yards. Clark rushed for 165 yards, also bringing down an interception to halt Naselle's offense and return the ball to the Tigers. Jakob Starkel and Brady Walter also had one 2-point conversion each.

Nelson totaled four points via the kicking game, with one field goal and one successful point-after attempt.

Defensively, King led the team in tackles with 13, while Jaden Hunt added 10 more.
