Criminal Sentencings

Joshua J. Tonasket, 25, Keller, changed plea to guilty for a charge of residential burglary, sentenced to 6 months in jail.

New Criminal Cases

David W. McCoy, 41, Almira, charged with one count theft in the first degree, one count theft in the second degree, one count money laundering, , two counts identity theft in the first degree, in connection to an incident on taking place between Nov. 6, 2019 and Jan. 9, 2020, in which McCoy is accused of making fraudulent bank account charges totaling $9279.9, according to the warrantless arrest probable cause statement. Bail has been se at $15,000. 00.

Brandy J. Hood, 37,Reardan, charged with one count second degree assault, one count harassment, one count fourth degree assault in connection with an incident on Jan. 6, 2020 in which Brandy is accused of punching a family member. Bail set at $25,000.

Nathan Douglas Mielke, Davenport, hit and run, pleaded guilty, sentenced to three days in jail (all credited as served), $493 in court assessments, 12 months supervised probation.

Kathleen Mary Amos, Fruitland, hit and run, pleaded guilty, no jail, $443 in court assessments, 12 months supervised probation.

Bridget L. Stearns, Wellpinit, attempted possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to three days in jai( converted to 24 hours community service, $300 in court assessments, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

James Steven Dowd, Bellingham, driving with suspended license, pleaded guilty, $450 in court assessments, 12 months supervised probation.

Erney Gilbert, Creston, malicious mischief, $450 in court assessments, 12months supervised probation.

Stanley Stewart has been found to have committed a probation violation, sentenced to 10 days in jail.

Jose M. Lara Chacon, Cheney has been found to have committed a probation violation, sentenced to 13 days in jail, $400 in court assessments.
