Editor’s note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

NOTE: Several listings are missing locations because the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office did not include in its report to the media.

June 15

A 60-year-old man was found deceased. Location was not disclosed in report to media.

A woman in an unknown location advised that her neighbor, whom they have an anti-harassment order against, was yelling obscenities at her.

A woman in an unknown location reported wanting deputy contact because of squatters staying in a mobile home that belonged to her. She said she was told to get it off the lot before, but with COVID concerns, she was unable to. She advised she doesn’t own the land, just the trailer.

A minor rock slide just south of mile marker 21 on State Route 21 was reported. Claimant advised that big rocks had been moved, but there was still debris on the roadway. The Department of Transportation was updated.

A bull got loose from Stockland Livestock Auction in Davenport.

A person said Nicholas Finch was making threats and offering her son pills. The person said Finch had been drinking.

A woman reported that her pitbull, “Rebel,” ran away from her residence, the location of which wasn’t included in the report to the media. The woman had already contacted the pet network.

A Davenport woman reported suspicious circumstances at the bell tower.

June 16

A Sprague man reported a suspicious vehicle on milepost 9 on WA-231. The man reported a black Saturn that appeared to be broken down with a bunch of stuff scattered on the side of the road.

A Sprague man, for the third day in a row, reported that a female was walking around yelling and screaming near his residence. The man said this was a recurring incident and believed the female was on drugs.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a call from an undisclosed location saying a neighbor kid yelled to their kids in the front yard to stay where they are or that neighbor kid would go inside and get his dad’s gun.

A Davenport woman reported two men fighting and yelling at Safeway Apartment #1. She said the door to their apartment was open and that this had been an issue in the past.

An Odessa woman reported a male in a 4-door Ford pickup truck came to her house. The woman said the man said he was looking for houses to buy and asked to use her phone.

A Wilbur man reported that some cows were on his property.

An Ellensburg woman reported that her husband was driving a semi-truck loaded with cattle that rolled on its side at Old Missile Site Road by State Route 28 south of Davenport.

June 17

A person in an undisclosed location reported two brothers fighting extremely loud. The person said they heard a body slam against a wall.

Lincoln County District Court called 911 reporting that someone in the lobby was having a seizure.

An Edwall man reported a person sleeping in the ditch in his front yard. He said he was mowing his lawn when he found the person.

A Lincoln woman reported that her neighbor burns trash almost every night around 7 p.m. She said she knows they’re burning trash because of the smell.

A Davenport woman reported a rooster in the Davenport Park creek wandering around.

A woman in an undisclosed location reported that her son had run away. She said she had checked his friend’s houses in Wilbur and were unable to locate him.

Chief’s Bar and Grill in Odessa reported a disturbance with a customer.

June 18

A church school bus reportedly caught fire in an undisclosed location.

A woman in an undisclosed location reported that her wheelbarrow was stolen from her brother’s vacant lot.

A welfare check was requested on a man who told the woman calling police that he wanted to re-home his cats and dogs. The woman said his thoughts were dark and gloomy and wanted to make sure he was okay.

June 19

A man reported that he rolled his vehicle on FDR Estates Drive N in Grand Coulee. The man said he was not injured, but had a bloody nose.

A woman in an undisclosed location reported that she was getting gas at an Exon when two white males in a truck pulled up and acted strangely before heading over to a Safeway.

A person reported a man using explicit language at other people in a Safeway parking lot.

A Spokane man reported that they were stuck in their boat with a dead battery on the south side of the Columbia River around 1.5 miles east of Seven Bays.

June 20

A Harrington man called to report that a male was driving a black Honda with no hood up and down the road.

A woman in an undisclosed location reported that her storage unit was broken into and several pieces of antique oak furniture were taken.

Airway Heights Police Department called to confirm a felony warrant on Ryan M. Smith for first-degree burglary, second-degree malicious mischief and five counts of thefts of firearms.

A Creston woman reported three black cows on the roadway, one of which was caught up in an electric fence just above Hawk Creek Campground.

Benjamin Samue Megren, 18, Ritzville, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of first-degree malicious mischief.

Lavern Robertholt Reed, 44, Davenport, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of second-degree UNL trafficking in fish or wildlife.

Nada Joy Stewart, 69, Creston, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

Noah Gregory Zehetmi, 22, Hunter, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of counterfeit substance schedule I/II/III.

June 17

Charlotte Dee Albert, 54, Moses Lake, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

Nathan Lee Pierce, 29, Vancouver, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of second-degree identity theft, making a false/misleading statement to a public servant and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

June 18

Crystal Lynn Enriquez, 38, Davenport, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of third-degree driving with a suspended license or revoked license or privilege.

June 20

Ryan Michael Smith, 37, Medical Lake, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of second-degree malicious mischief, first-degree burglary and theft of a firearm.

New Criminal Cases

Perry D. Bayes has been accused of first-degree possession of stolen property. Bayes is accused of knowingly receiving beehives valued over $5,000 that were stolen. Probable cause has been found; suspect is currently in custody of Lincoln County Jail with bail set at $25,000.

Arthur J. Banko has been accused of one count of malicious harassment on June 16. He’s accused of threatening a man for his perception of religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, placing that man in a reasonable fear of harm to himself or his property. Probable cause has been found; suspect has been summoned to appear in Lincoln County Superior Court. Hearing is set for July 7.
