No COVID-19 delay for Lincoln Co. property tax

LINCOLN COUNTY – While some counties in Washington are allowing residents to delay paying their property tax due to COVID-19, there is no delay scheduled for Lincoln County. Second half tax payments are due October 31st. For residents paying their taxes in two installments, the first half was due April 30th. Tax payments can be mailed to the Lincoln County Treasurer at P O Box 370, Davenport, WA 99122 and must be postmarked by October 31st. Taxes can also be paid through the county website at: http://www.co.lincoln.wa.us/treasurer. Credit/debit cards are only accepted on-line. A payment drop box is also located at the north entrance of the courthouse.

Delinquent taxes are subject to interest at one percent per month. In addition, delinquent taxes are subject to penalties as follows: 3% on the full amount of tax unpaid on June 1 of the year in which the tax is due. Also an additional penalty of 8% on the amount of tax delinquent on December 1 of the year in which the tax is due. Real property foreclosure proceedings start after 3 years from the date of delinquency.
