HELIPAD DEDICATION ATTRACTS LARGE CROWD

Numerous spectators turned out for a special dedication ceremony on the Lincoln County Hospital grounds last week held in honor of the newly-constructed helipad – a 60 by 60 foot concrete slab that represents a sturdier link between this county’s rural hospital and Spokane’s urban facilities.

The helipad is the first major project of the Lincoln Hospital Foundation, provides a 24-hour, year-round landing site for Helicopters.

“This dedication of the heliport symbolizes the connection that this rural hospital has fostered with the urban hospitals in providing top notch care to the community it serves.” Lincoln Hospital Administrator Tom Martin wrote in the notice to the media.
