COVID-19 vaccine finally available in Odessa

ODESSA — Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center is now dispensing the COVID-19 vaccine per state and county health department guidelines.

The local hospital has received 50 doses of the Moderna vaccine in the last two weeks, employees said. Long-term care and assisted-living residents, healthcare workers, community firefighters and police officers are currently being vaccinated.

The administration is working with the Lincoln County Health Department to begin weekly dosage ordering to continue vaccinating the community.
