The Odessa High School debate team climbed one round higher on the ladder that leads to the state debate championship for northeastern Washington, when it defeated the strong team from Oroville when they met at the English Congregational Church in Odessa. The team consists of Mary Glass, Florence Schoonover and Christoph Horn. The local debaters will go victorious to the final debate next month. Lewis and Clark HS of Spokane was defeated by Reardan, putting the big school out of the race. It now looks as though the debate championship will come to Lincoln County aga...
