Three students receive 4-H scholarship

SPRAGUE—Three students from Lincoln and Adams counties have been awarded $750 scholarships for their achievements in 4-H by the Lincoln-Adams 4-H Leadership Councils.

Malea Canaday, who is graduating from Sprague-Lamont High School this year, is a six-year member of the Sprague-Lamont 4-H club and has completed projects in sheep production, leadership, horseless horse, food and nutrition and riflery. She has served as a club officer, mentored younger members and assisted in Crafty Cooks meetings.

Canaday plans to attend Eastern Washington University and major in accounting and business....
