Editor’s note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

June 6

Traffic stops: 13

A Davenport woman said someone drove through her fence on the 33200 block of East Hawk Creek Road.

Washington State Patrol asked if a deputy could check on a bent-over male.

A woman requested a welfare check on her friend, whom she was talking to on the phone when she heard a loud noise before the phone disconnected. The woman said her friend hadn’t gotten back to her since.

A caller said he was driving a semitruck and sideswiped a Ford Taurus in a non-injury collision.


An Oroville man said he was having an issue with his tenants.

A lost dog was reported on the 3900 block of North Hopp Road in Odessa.

A man said the abandoned house to the west of his residence that had been vacant for over 30 years had smoke coming out of the chimney. He said he didn’t see anyone around the house but saw a wheelbarrow full of wood on the deck.

A caller reported drunk campers being extra loud.

June 7

Traffic stops: 13

A woman said her husband was having issues with dementia and grabbed her arms while pulling her outside and screaming for the neighbors.


A Renton man said he locked his keys in his car.

A Davenport man reported several abandoned vehicles on a piece of property near his on the 1000 block of Maxwell Street.

A man emailed the Sheriff’s Office saying there was a blue Ford Thunderbird that was sitting across the street from his residence for the last six months without moving.

A tree reportedly fell onto a camper vehicle.

A Davenport woman reported that her child ran away from her residence on the 900 block of 14th Street.

A caller said his boyfriend was drinking at his mom’s house and tried to assault him, so he ran away.

A loose black calf was reported one mile down Williams Road.

A woman said she was hearing weird noises outside her house.

June 8

A woman called 911 to say her neighbor cut some limbs off her tree.

A caller reported a possible DUI situation on Highway 25.

June 9

Traffic stops: 10

Two women called within six minutes of each other reporting their cars were broken into.

The manager at Safeway in Davenport reported trespassing.

A caller requested a welfare check on a couple that hadn’t returned his calls for a couple weeks.

A woman reported she received a fraudulent email.

A caller reported cattle out near the 51800 block of Sobek Road in Edwall.

June 10

Traffic stops: 10

A non-injury three-car fender bender was reported.

A Davenport man reported debris in the roadway westbound on Highway 2 at milepost 261.

A caller said her neighbor dismantled her husband’s memorial in her yard and made rude comments to her.

June 11

Traffic stops: 5

A Wilbur woman said her neighbor tied up two ponies to her fence that had been there over 24 hours with no access to food or water on the 600 block of Southwest Bruce Avenue.

The manager of Safeway in Davenport reported theft by two females heading westbound on Highway 2 in a white Toyota.

Odessa Memorial Hospital requested a welfare check on a 76-year-old woman who was an hour late for her appointment.

A Davenport man reported a 50-foot-tall burn.

A Keller man requested a welfare check on his girlfriend.

A man said his neighbor threw a bottle and hit him in the face.

June 12

Traffic stops: 8

A caller reported two males causing problems at a gas station.

A Spokane woman reported a possible DUI situation westbound on Highway 2 with a white four-door sedan crossing the fog line and center line.

A man was reportedly walking down Highway 2 at milepost 224.

Zack Jay Judge, 28, Spokane Valley. Originally arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on charges of third-degree malicious mischief, second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and theft of a motor vehicle.

Timothy Lee Morton, 49, Wilbur. Arrested by LCSO on charges of second-degree burglary and second-degree theft.

June 10

Austin John Martin, 22, Sedro-Wooley. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence.

Quintin James Wright, 23, Spokane. Originally arrested by the Reardan Police Department on charges of third-degree malicious mischief and first-degree criminal trespassing.

Austin John Martin, Sedro-Woolley, reckless driving. Sentenced to 30 days in jail and a $500 fine.

Benjamin Cyrus Samuels, Grand Coulee, fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Case dismissed.

David Ray Hunter, Deer Park, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation.

Merry Jane Marty, Fruitland, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Case dismissed.

Merry Jane Marty, Fruitland, using or delivering drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation.

Dustin Dewane Gallas, Spokane, second-degree driving with a suspended license converted to third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to two days in jail, 16 hours of community service and 12 months supervised probation.

Timothy Lee Morton, Wilbur, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to two days in jail and 12 months supervised probation.

Eliceo Vargas Reyes, driving under the influence. Sentenced to two days in jail, a $1,000 fine, 36 months supervised probation and 24 months unsupervised probation.

Alexandria Brigman, Ford, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation.

Seth Geronimo Ford, Wellpinit, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to two days in jail, 16 hours of community service and 12 months supervised probation.

Douglas Timothy Hodgson, Spangle, driving under the influence. Sentenced to two days in jail, a $1,400 fine, 36 months supervised probation and 24 months unsupervised probation.

Quintin James Wright, Reardan, first-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree malicious mischief. Sentenced to 10 days in jail, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

Traffic court-June 3 (includes cases not released to media last week)

Khoa Huu Nguyen, Seattle, failure to stop at an intersection and operating a vehicle without insurance. $290 fine.

Ismael Lopez, Lakeland, Florida, Speeding 16 mph over limit. $210 fine.

Douglas Timothy Hodgson, Spangle, speeding 14 mph over limit and operating a vehicle without insurance. Case dismissed.

SUPERIOR COURT

Civil/domestic docket-June 8

Grigory N. Senchenko vs. Natalya A. Senchenko, regarding marriage dissolution. Motion hearing for order approving net proceeds distribution from the sale of real property. Mr. Senchenko acknowledged he was served. Court orders to proceed with distributing $100,472.74 from the sale of real property to be awarded to the respondent.

State of Washington vs. William Emil Hughes, contempt hearing. Case continued to July 27.

Ce-Nedra Marie Teacher vs. Michael Logan Arnett and Shellie D. Wynecoop, regarding domestic violence protection order. Petitioner asked for protection order to be dropped upon condition respondents don’t move back into her residence. Court denied protection order.

Janice Lynn Cepeda vs. Robert Anthony Cepeda, regarding marriage dissolution. Court granted motion for default and granted dissolution.

Dakota Sky Warner-Murray, guardianship hearing. Motion for guardian not to be required to file annual budget reports while still being required to file personal care reports granted and disposition approved.

Lindsay Marie Reyes vs. Alberto Reyes, regarding marriage dissolution. Court ruled a 50/50 split temporary parenting plan. Any dispute funds are to go into a trust.

Criminal docket-June 8

Zack Jay Judge, who was charged with motor vehicle theft, was found guilty on one count of second-degree theft and was sentenced to 45 days in jail and ordered to pay $542.42 in restitution to Wilbur Auto Body.

Kody Marshall Scott, who is charged with four counts of second-degree possession of stolen property, didn’t make a preliminary appearance. Warrant issued with bail set at $2,500.

Reina M. Karunaratne, who is charged with residential burglary, entered a not-guilty plea. Motion granted for competency order for evaluation. Readiness hearing set for Aug. 17. Jury trial set for Sept. 1.
