County, Teamsters negotiate in person

Joe Kuhn and Taj Wilkerson of Teamsters 690, representing the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office's commissioned and non-commissioned officers, appeared to negotiate contracts with the county in-person for the fifth negotiation meeting between the two sides at the county commissioner's Aug. 16 meeting. Talks remain amicable, and commissioner Rob Coffman commented that the two sides "are getting close" to reaching an agreement after the meeting.
