Sprague man booked into jail with man he allegedly robbed

SPRAGUE – A local man charged with second-degree assault for allegedly trying to choke his girlfriend now occupies Lincoln County Jail with a second local man charged with seven counts of second-degree theft for allegedly stealing seven debit cards from the first man’s car parked in the city after the first man was taken to jail.

Brandon Phillip Searles, 37, of Sprague was booked into jail Aug. 11 after being arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff sergeant Jerad McLagan on a charge of second-degree assault. Searles was arrested for allegedly assaulting and choking his girlfriend, according to poli...
