Richard (Dick) Sitko passed away Aug. 25, 2021 at home in Davenport, Wash. He was born on June 13, 1936 in Fargo, N.D. to Alfred and Marion Sitko. His family moved to Washington State when he was a young child.

Dick grew up, attended school and graduated from Washtucna. He met his future wife Donna while a student at Eastern Washington State College. He married Donna Paul on Nov. 22, 1958, in Spokane, Wash.

Dick worked for Avista (formally Washington Water Power) in Spokane, Ritzville, and Davenport for 36 yrs. before retiring.

To Dick it was always family first. He enjoyed every minute with kids and grandkids particularly at Priest Lake. Dick also enjoyed spending as much time hunting and fishing as possible.

He is a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Davenport, Wash.


He is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Donna at the home, three children Deb (Jim) Kowalkowski, Doug Sitko, and Darin (Jacci) Sitko along with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Sitko.

A Rosary and a private family Funeral Mass will be held. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials may be made to the Lincoln Hospital Foundation, 10 Nicholls St., Davenport, WA 99122.
