Michael Gies

Michael Gies, 79, passed away at his home in Seattle on Aug. 6, 2021. He was born on Feb. 22, 1942.

Mike was a 1960 graduate of Odessa High School and graduated from Washington State University in 1964. After receiving his Master’s Degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin in 1966, he spent several years teaching math at Skagit Valley Community College. He then had a long career with the King County Department of Assessments in the IT department.

Mike was predeceased by his parents Henry and DeLora Gies and brother-in-law Ron Fuller. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law...
