Local levies pass by comfortable margins

ODESSA – The special levy elections held Feb. 8 were successful for all three levies run by entities in Odessa. Both school levies, one for capital projects and one for other school needs, passed with more than 70 percent “Yes” votes to just under 30 percent “No” votes. Overall voting for Adams, Grant and Lincoln county residents within the Odessa School District was approximately the same.

Lincoln Hospital District 1 (Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center) also had its levy pass with more than 67 percent of the vote.
