Letter to the Editor

I was recently horrified by the guest editorial of Rob Coffman, Lincoln County Commissioner, who ranted with typical Republican party hysteria against the very minor arms control legislation proposed by the Washington Legislature. Considering the fact that the Putin backed Trump crime family had recently tried to overthrow the government of the United States with the help of Nazi terrorists, the fact that Republican governors have enacted laws restricting voting rights, freedom of the press, the rights of women, and education, his (Coffman's) editorial is one more dismaying instance of short sighted fear mongering with the single purpose of frightening and maligning peaceful and law abiding citizens and dissuading rational discourse for the purpose of political gain.

Truly, When is enough, enough?
