July 18

Traffic stops: 8

An abandoned vehicle with a note saying the car would be towed the next morning was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 260.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Eastern State Hospital.

A woman requested a welfare check on a man and his son, whom she said she’d been trying to get ahold of for five days.

A Davenport woman requested someone be transported from a golf course she manages, saying the person called her a “bitch” because she fired the person’s daughter.

July 19

Traffic stops: 10

A caller reported a husband assaulting his wife.

A man said he hit a deer in an undisclosed location.

A caller reported 15 cows loose on Hawk Creek Road near Johns Rocky Way East.

A caller reported a two-car crash.

A Creston man reported a suspicious vehicle parked near his grain bins on the 30900 block of Rosman Road North.

An Odessa man said a work truck popped into gear and rolled into his neighbor’s garage.

A Davenport man reported two cows loose on Rocklyn Road north of Coffeepot Road.

A caller said his neighbor’s goats were coming into his porch and eating out of his bird feeder.

Sprague City Hall said a citizen told them they saw a man going through a dumpster outside a house under construction on the 500 block of West Fourth Street.

July 20

Traffic stops: 22

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Spokane County.

A caller said a person was jumped by teenage girls on the 700 block of 10th Street in Davenport.

A Davenport man said he was scammed out of $2,000 online.

A Creston man said he came home to his girlfriend missing and believed she was possibly kidnapped by her ex-husband.

A caller said when she came out of the bathroom her front door was opened and unlocked.

A Reardan woman reported a 65-year-old woman experiencing shortness of breath.

A caller said he gave out all his personal information when his computer froze, and he became a victim of computer fraud.

A caller reported a car parked on a county road across Highway 2 from his property.

A man reported people walking outside apartments with flashlights.

A woman came to the Sheriff’s Office with a wallet she said her friend stole.

July 21

Traffic stops: 14

Multi-Agency Communication Center dispatch in Moses Lake requested a check on a suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run.

A front door burglary alarm was reported at Exxon in Davenport.

A Reardan man said a black Pontiac had been parked for two days on Four Corners Road west of Mondovi Road.

A Davenport man said 80 gallons of fuel were stolen out of the firetruck parked at his residence on the 24300 block of Janett Road North.

A Deer Meadows woman said cars and golf carts were speeding and driving erratically on her property all day on the 42000 block of Fawn Road North.

A Davenport woman said she hadn’t seen her neighbor in three weeks, his garbage can was laying in the street and his cat looked like it hadn’t been fed in a while.

A worker with Wheatland Repair said a man had dropped off an old tow truck in his parking lot over a year ago and never came back for it.

The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office in Idaho said they were searching for a 76-year-old man with Alzheimer’s who went missing the previous night and had a home address on the 300 block of West Fourth Street in Sprague.

A Sprague man requested a welfare check at Hog Lake in Spokane County.

A Davenport man said there might be a leak at the crop production services plant by the stockyards in the city.

A caller reported people hiding in bushes.

July 22

Traffic stops: 10

A Wilbur man said someone was driving a moped around town and he didn’t believe there was a reason for it.

A Reardan woman said a car parked in her driveway on the 32400 block of Highway 231 North.

A caller reported six cows on Schirr Road at Gaffney Road East north of Sprague.

A woman said her sister was possibly having a seizure while parked on the side of a road.

Washington State Patrol reported a possible rolling domestic violence incident westbound on Highway 2 from Coulee Hite Road in western Spokane County.

A 15-year-old boy said he was beaten by his father multiple times at their home on the 300 block of East Brooke Street in Sprague.

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 23 just south of I-90 in Sprague.

A caller said she signed a contract to take photos of a wedding at Harrington Golf Course that was cancelled, and the man was refusing to pay her drive time based on their contract.

A woman requested a welfare check on two youths and their mother at the Spring Canyon Campground beach area.

A disabled motorhome was reported off the roadway on Highway 174 at milepost 33.

A California man said his black and white security camera alerted him to a white truck driving up his driveway to his property that he owns on Highway 25 north of Davenport.

An EMT response was requested on Third and Morgan Street in Davenport for a woman with low blood sugar.

July 23

Traffic stops: 30

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 261.

A caller said she heard gunshots close to her house.

A woman said there was a suspicious woman possibly high on meth looking in people’s cars at the Folsom Farm Recreation Area south of Fishtrap Road and Old Sprague Highway.

A caller said his friend found a dog locked in a hot car nearly dead before freeing it from the car.

A caller reported a possible driver under the influence on Highway 2 east of Davenport.

An Almira woman said two vehicles came rushing off Highway 2 and parked at the local bus garage, when two people got out of the cars, yelled at each other, got back in the cars and sped away.

A Harrington man said a car full of people drove past him on First Street in front of the local school and called him a “retard.”

A caller reported a disabled truck with a boat trailer on Highway 2 at milepost 226.

A caller from Lincoln Hospital said they could hear what sounded like fireworks being shot off near the gun range.

July 24

Traffic stops: 16

A jail inmate was transported to Lincoln County from Thurston County.

A Davenport man said someone threw his daughter’s phone out a window.

A Harrington man said someone tried to trade him fake jewelry for gas.

A caller said someone knocked on his front door four times and scared his wife, then added if he couldn’t chase them down, he would put them down.

A caller reported a woman that jumped out of a boat on Lake Roosevelt and was asking other boats for a ride.

A Florida woman said she was driving behind a GMC swerving all over Highway 2 westbound entering Wilbur.

July 19

Stanial Ray Ferraro II, 27, Lakewood. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of second-degree assault.

Christopher M. Mundall, 44, Reardan. Arrested by Washington State Patrol on a charge of driving under the influence.

July 22

Dustin Wesley Monen, 37, Sprague. Arrested by LCSO on charges of fourth-degree assault and second-degree assault.

July 24

Erik Norman Skau, 41, Yelm. Arrested by LCSO on charges of firearm theft, motor vehicle theft, first-degree burglary and first-degree theft.

Criminal docket-July 19

Timothy Lee Morton, who pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary in May, had a sentencing hearing continued to Aug. 2 for medical reasons.

Timothy Richard Bordwell, who is charged with second-degree assault/strangulation and motor vehicle theft in two separate cases, was found mentally incapable of understanding the nature of proceedings against him and assisting in his own defense. A status hearing was set for Aug. 2.

David Robert Rickard, who is charged with second-degree burglary, making or having burglary tools, third-degree theft and third-degree malicious mischief, will have a hearing Aug. 2 with a motion to dismiss while expecting immediate transportation to Eastern State Hospital for a civil commitment.
