Nov. 21

Traffic stops: 3

Multiple callers said a car hit a guard rail on Highway 231 just south of Paul Road.

A Reardan man reported fraud.

A Wilbur woman said she found the fuel filler door and gas cap open on her vehicle, but no fuel had been stolen.

A caller from Wilbur High School said a 15-year-old girl was caught drinking whiskey in a school locker room and posting the incident on Snapchat.

A caller reported a suspicious woman prowling his property.

A domestic disturbance was reported at Lakeview Terrance Mobile Home Park in Grand Coulee.


ADT Security reported a commercial burglary alarm going off at the Wonder Mini Mart in Wilbur.

Nov. 22

Traffic stops: 1

A Wilbur man said a gold Ford F250 showed up on his property on Spokane Street overnight.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in front of the Sprague Motel.

A residential burglary alarm was reported going off in Davenport.

A two-car crash was reported.

A Davenport man said a car crashed into a powerline just north of the Lincoln County Courthouse.


An Okanogan woman said a white pickup truck had crashed on Highway 2 at milepost 259 and was hanging over the edge of a hill.

Okanogan County transferred a 911 call that said a car hit a guard rail and slid off the roadway on Highway 174 at milepost 25.

A Tonasket woman reported a jack-knifed semitruck eastbound on Highway 174 partially blocking the westbound lane.

A vehicle slideoff into a ditch was reported on Highway 174 at milepost 37.

A Davenport man said a gray pickup truck had been sitting on state land near Hawk Creek for 4-5 days.

A caller said she saw a car on the west side of Highway 2 off the roadway with no lights on.

A vehicle slideoff was reported on Highway 174 at milepost 33.

A caller said she locked her keys in her running Subaru.

Nov. 23

Traffic stops: 4

A residential burglary alarm was reported going off at a local home, but the reporting company was advised the house has four cats inside.

An Almira man reported a tractor trailer in a ditch on Highway 2.

Multiple callers said a car rear-ended a county plow truck on Highway 2 at Sherman Draw Road.

Lincoln County Public Works said a car was in the ditch on Waukon Road.

A two-car head-on crash was reported on Miles-Creston Road near Welch Creek.

The U.S. Marshals requested help serving a warrant on the 36100 block of Hawk Creek Road.

A caller reported a GMC passing multiple vehicles at once on Highway 2.

A caller said her daughter stole 34 Xanax pills and was “rambling in the living room.”

A caller said her motion light kept turning on and she could hear footsteps.

An Odessa woman said her intoxicated husband assaulted her and her kids.

Nov. 24

Traffic stops: 7

A downed stop sign was reported in Davenport at Seventh and Morgan Streets with nearby tire marks that indicated someone drove through it.

A caller said he had a relative that he didn’t like at his house for Thanksgiving and asked that he be removed from the residence.

Spokane County said they received a transfer call from Stevens County by a woman sitting in her vehicle on the 36100 block of Oehlschlager Road northeast of Reardan.

A caller reported an intoxicated driver crossing a fog line.

A Reardan man said he didn’t want contact with a family member anymore.

A caller reported a van speeding on Highway 2 at milepost 263.

A driver under the influence was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 260.

Nov. 25

Traffic stops: 6

An Odessa woman said her daughter was out of control and drinking while on opiate pills.

A Reardan man said he met a man sleeping in his truck on Circle Road about three weeks prior.

A Reardan man said his daughter just showed up at his house.

A 93-year-old woman suffered a fainting spell.

A caller reported a Suburban parked on Highway 2 with its flashers on three miles east of Wilbur.

A Davenport man wanted to express discontent with a third-hand rumor he heard that his brother’s RV was moved from a city street.

Nov. 26

Traffic stops: 7

A Sprague woman said a person living in the local motel owned a vehicle that had no plates or insurance.

A Wilbur man said his wife was experiencing severe abdominal pain.

A caller said a pickup truck was pulling a horse trailer with no lights westbound on Highway 2 near Reardan.

A Davenport man said he was following a car “all over the roadway” on Highway 2 near Janett Road.

A caller said he received a suspicious call from a family member in Creston.

JAIL BOOKINGS

Nov. 21

Charlie Joe Craig, 29, Grand Coulee. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on charges of fourth-degree assault and failure to comply.

Miranda Rachel Carolus, 41, Otis Orchards. Arrested by LCSO on charges of residential burglary, second-degree theft, motor vehicle theft and second-degree identity theft.

Criminal court

Alexis Hernandez-Ramirez, Ephrata, first-degree negligent driving. Sentenced to 12 months supervised probation and a $1,000 fine.

Mark Andrew Machtolf, Nine Mile Falls, driving under the influence amended to reckless driving. Sentenced to two days in jail with credit for one day served, a $1,500 fine and 24 months supervised probation. (Case handled by Adams County Judge Carolyn Benzel.)
