Reardan dominates second half to defeat Chewelah Cougars

REARDAN–Three players scored in double figures to lead the Screaming Eagles to a 65-48 win over Chewelah in a NE2B boys basketball matchup Friday, Dec. 16.

In the game's first half the teams matched each other bucket-for-bucket. They were tied at 12 apiece after one quarter.

Behind Cody Gilroy's 15 points, the Cougars took a 30-29 lead at the break. Rysen Soliday scored eleven first half points for the Screaming Eagles.

"At halftime we had to focus on letting the offense work for us," head coach Brian Graham said.

And that it did.

In the second half, Reardan outscored the Cougars 36-18...
