Finkbeiner named new clerk

HARRINGTON-The city here has a new permanent clerk. Donna Finkbeiner replaced Jere Lee in the position in January and has begun work at City Hall.

Finkbeiner said she heard of the job through word of mouth and decided to try out for it.

The city clerk position was vacated in mid-December last year after Lee handed in his resignation.

Finkbeiner is originally from Texas, but her husband Terry is from Washington State.

She is a former secondary teacher; she taught biology, physiology and intensive English to students with a different first language.
