Geraldine Ann (Gerry Ann) Stevenson, cherished and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother peacefully left us on Feb. 26, 2023 at the age of 95. She was born June 20, 1927 to Gerald and Gertrude Stanfield in Weiser, Idaho. Her family were pioneers of early Oregon arriving by way of the Oregon Trail to Echo, Ore. She grew up in a sheep ranching family. After graduating from Weiser High School, she matriculated at the University of Idaho where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Subsequently she earned her graduate degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Michigan. After graduation she returned to Idaho working in Twin Falls. Soon thereafter, she met the love of her life, Jerry Stevenson, marrying in 1953. After a brief stay in Spokane, they moved to the family farm in Reardan. Excelling as a homemaker while raising two children, she resumed working in her career field eventually as the consulting dietitian at the Ritzville and Othello hospitals and later as an instructor at Eastern Washington University. During this time she also coordinated and managed a Dietetics Program with the University of Idaho and Eastern Washington University at Scared Heart Hospital in Spokane. Upon retirement she and Jerry enjoyed spending summers, golfing, playing bridge, boating, and socializing at their summer home at Priest Lake, Idaho and spending part of each winter with friends at Pismo Beach, Calif.

Her life was spent with her family as the center of her universe. She loved to cook, and baking pies were her specialty. She and Jerry enjoyed many friends and were proud members of the Reardan community. She lived a long happy life.

She is survived by her children Ann (Bob) Everett, Reardan, Wash. and Ray (Helen) Stevenson, Bainbridge Island, Wash .; seven grandchildren, Rob, Jacob, Eric, Nicholas, JP, Bryce and Madeline; and five great-grandchildren.
