Highline Grain acquires units through grant

REARDAN - The risk of cardiac arrest is a scary proposition, but there are now more tools to address an episode in Lincoln County thanks to a series of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) acquired by Highline Grain Growers through a $5,000 matching grant program.
The units have been disbursed in the last two weeks by Fire District No. 4 and is a medical device aimed at analyzing a heart's rhythm and deliver an electric shock to the heart without the need of mouth-to-mouth CPR.
