A possible driver under the influence was reported southbound on Highway 25 at milepost 7.

A Creston woman said her daughter threatened to run away from their First Street home after getting grounded.

A juvenile owl was reported in the window of Good Neighbor Pharmacy in Davenport.

A Davenport man said his Jefferson Street neighbor sold his snowblower after lending it to him for the winter.

A vehicle lockout was reported at the Seventh Day Adventist Church outside Davenport.

A Reardan woman said a man came up to her house and said he was out of gas on a highway and needed help.

A caller said he saw an injured female on the side of the road on Highway 231 south of Long Lake Dam.

Harrington Golf and Country Club workers reported a disruptive man on the golf course.

A Davenport woman requested a welfare check on her caretaker in Creston.

Cheney Police transferred a call about a man living on Surber Road northeast of Reardan.

A caller said her 3-year-old son’s grandfather was trying to take her son without permission.

A Davenport woman said a rock truck was dragging a chain through Reardan on Broadway Avenue.

A vehicle fire was reported.

A Lincoln Hospital employee reported a man lying in the shade at the Davenport Gun Club.

Papers were served to a woman on the 300 block of West Sixth Street in Sprague.

Papers were served to a man who was ordered to surrender his weapons.

A possible driver under the influence was reported on Highway 28 at Spinning Road.

A caller reported speeding gravel trucks on Alder Road in Odessa.

A vehicle lockout was reported on Oak Street in Reardan.

A caller reported a group of youths trying to climb on the roof of the school in Reardan.

A Davenport woman asked for a deputy to take a burglary reported on the 400 block of Ross Street.

A caller said his daughter’s ex-boyfriend illegally made a key for his truck.

An Odessa man said someone tried siphoning gas from a couple vehicles behind the local Napa.

Two alarms were reported going off at the Lake Roosevelt office.

Davenport School District staff requested a welfare check on the 12100 block of Bly Road.

Vehicle prowling was reported in Reardan.

A car without a license plate was reported at a local skate park.

A parking violation was reported in Odessa.

A caller said a gold Suburban was parked at his machine shop with a note on it stating “will pick up later, broke down.”

An ambulance driver said they were transporting a person that was being combative and slipping restraints westbound on Highway 2 outside Wilbur.

A Harrington woman said her daughter was upset because she wasn’t being given more pain medication than prescribed.

A Kennewick woman requested assistance gathering belongings from her father’s home.

A Sprague man reported a car parked in his driveway on the 600 block of First Street.

A Davenport man requested a welfare check on the 400 block of Ross Street.

A Creston man reported an abandoned vehicle.

A caller reported a Chrysler speeding through Reardan.

A Davenport man said his neighbor kept picking up his dog in a vehicle and bringing it back to his house on Gravelle Road.

A caller reported a man slumped over a steering wheel.

An employee at Safeway in Davenport said an employee’s husband took two bottles of alcohol from the store.

A Grand Coulee woman reported a possible burglary at her residence on Highway 174.

A Spokane County inmate was transported to Lincoln County Jail.

May 6

Traffic stops: 11

A basement motion alarm was reported going off at the Lincoln County Courthouse.

A water flow alarm was reported going off at Davenport High School.

An Odessa man said a BNSF train had been blocking both crossings in town over over 25 minutes.

A caller from Davenport Family Foods said an employee was receiving threatening texts.

A Davenport woman reported shooting near the roadway adjacent to her property on Green Canyon Road.

A Davenport man said a suspicious man knocked on his front door on the 800 block of Seventh Street.

A caller said campers at the Spring Canyon Campground were being “very loud.”

May 2

James Darrell Gaines, 65, Lincoln. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on charges of third-degree driving with a suspended license and an ignition interlock violation.

May 3

Tayler Jean Hanson, 40, Spokane Valley. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of harassment.

May 5

Skylar Dale Anderson, 29, Spokane. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

May 6

Ryan Jeffrey Marley, 44, Spokane Valley. Originally arrested by LCSO on a charge of first-degree animal cruelty.

DISTRICT COURT

Criminal court-May 4

Jamie Rashel Kazinsky, Grand Coulee, first-degree criminal trespassing. Sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 30 days served, a $750 fine and 24 months supervised probation.

John William Orndorff, Davenport, fourth-degree assault. Sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served, a $500 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Celia Ann Heimbigner, Odessa, third-degree theft. Sentenced to five days in jail with credit for two days served, 24 hours community service, a $250 fine and 12 months supervised probation.

Steven R. Wynne, Wellpinit, failure to transfer title within 45 days (dismissed) and driving without a license. Fined $300.

Zachary L. Zittel, Omak, driving under the influence and fourth-degree assault. Sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for two days served, 90 days of electronic home monitoring, a $1,500 fine, 36 months supervised probation and 24 months unsupervised probation.

Criminal docket-May 2

Judge Jeffrey S. Barkdull

Jay Wendelyn Thielen, who was convicted of second-degree identity theft in Oct. 2019, had a motion granted to have his prison time lowered to 19 months with 12 months community custody.

John William Orndorff, who was charged with second-degree assault, had his case dismissed after a resolution in District Court.

Harley Lance Burns, who is charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and fourth-degree assault, waived his right to a speedy trial. A readiness hearing was set for July 11 and a jury trial was set for Aug. 9.

Samuel Adam Rogers, who is charged with motor vehicle theft, entered a guilty plea and will be sentenced May 30.

Taylor Jean Hanson, who is charged with two counts of harassment with the threat to kill or injure, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for June 6 and a jury trial was set for June 28.

Ero M. Lipka was convicted of residential burglary and second-degree burglary and was sentenced to 23 days in jail.
