Event set for Medical Lake park
MEDICAL LAKE – Blue Waters Bluegrass Festival will return to Medical Lake Waterfront Park for three days of live music, workshops and family activities Aug. 7-9.
The nonprofit festival, founded in 2002, brings nationally known bluegrass performers and regional musicians to the Inland Northwest each summer. Although this year's event marks the festival's 25th year, organizers skipped the 2020 and 2021 festivals because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nick Burgis, Festival President said the event began with a small group of Medical Lake residents who built a stage on a flatbed truck.
