Odessa's Knowledge Bowl Team qualified for statewide competition on Friday, February 28. Eleven B1 schools competed for the top five spots to represent Educational Services District (ESD) 101 area along with 4A, 3A, 2A, and 2B schools. The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) allows 19 teams to compete (4A two, 3A three, 2A three, 1A two, 2B four, 1B five).
Topping the charts for 1B schools was Almira-Coulee/Hartline, followed by Wilbur, Valley Christian, St. John-Endicott and Odessa winning the last spot over Garfield-Palouse by nine points.
