Ronald E. Frederick

Ron Frederick died July 8, 2014 at his home in Odessa at the age of 78.

Ron was born May 30, 1936 in Odessa to Louis and Alma (Giese) Frederick. He attended school in Odessa until tenth grade, joined the U.S. Army at age 17 and had his 18th birthday in Korea during the Korean War. After the war he worked in Spokane at White Block Co. and Calkins Machinery, later moving back to Odessa to farm.

Ron later went to work for the Odessa Trading Company as a machine yard foreman. He left the Odessa Trading Company and became the VFW club manager and drove school bus. He also worked for the U.S. Postal...
