Weather forcast for this weekend HOT

The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures in the triple digits on the weekend and into early next week. People are being advised to limit strenuous outdoor activities and to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

This is bad news for Hoopfest teams planning to head to Spokane this weekend, as Spokane is also forecast to have temperatures above 100 degrees both Saturday and Sunday. Event organizers have reportedly ordered additional cool-air misters, fans and lots of water for all involved in Hoopfest as participants or officials.
