Winter conference for FBLA: Awards galore

Odessa FBLA members attended the NE Region Winter Conference, where 34 students competed for the opportunity to compete at the state conference in Spokane in April.

Receiving first-place awards were Colby Sooy in the Ag Business category; Brad Johnston, Ryan Moffet and Brady Walter for Business Ethics; Joshua Clark, Jaden Hunt and Marcus King for Emerging Business Issues; Molly Schafer for Public Speaking 2 and Client Service; Josie Westmoreland, Elizabeth Larson and Megan Shafer for Social Media Campaign; Megan Shafer, Caitlyn Schuh and Kenadie Elder for their Intro To Business Presentation and Rebecca Fortner for Electronic Career Portfolio.

Receving second-place awards were Colby Sooy for Accounting; Ireland Luiten, Eric Johnston, Noah Anderson and Jaden Hunt for Public Service Announcement and Elizabeth Larson for Graphic Design.

Third-place award recipients were Arianna German for Client Service; Sarina Goetz for Public Speaking I and Zoe Clark, McKennah Davison and Camden Weber for Business Ethics.

Chance Messer took fiftrh place in Job Interview.

Sixth place went to Jakob Starkel, Maddy Wagner and Colton Hunt for Emerging Business Issues; Lane Lobe for Electronic Career Portfolio and John DeWulf for Job Interview.
