Members of the Friends of the Pool (FOP), a group of young parents who conduct fundraising efforts on behalf of the Odessa Aquatic Recreation Center, met with town officials at the publicl library recently to discuss needs at the pool prior to the coming swim season. A Quilters Tea is being held Monday, February 10, at Any Occasion Banquet Hall, to benefit The Odessa Quilt Club’s quilt-making project for Angel Flight, and hopefully also make a monetary donation to the Angel Flight organization. The group’s service projects have raised money to buy items for the hospital not covered in its annual budget.
