Wine Tasting and Auction "another great success"

The Odessa Healthcare Foundation’s 20th annual Wine Tasting and Auction was held at the community center Friday, May 6. A good crowd was on hand to bid on hundreds of silent auction, live auction and other items.

Preliminary reports indicate that the event was a success, raising around $40,000, according to foundation president Kim King. Nearly $9,000 was raised in the special auction for the vital signs equipment for the ambulance. King reported that the highest bid for an item was $3,000 for a Holland America Cruise.
