After a double lung transplant on September 1, 2010, Dave Iverson did what would have been impossible just nine short months ago. He completed the Windermere Marathon on a relay team with his daughters. The race began at the Post Falls Outlet Mall and followed the Centennial Trail to Riverfront Park in Spokane. Dave ran the final leg of the relay and after 6.2 miles crossed the finish line to cheering as the announcer provided background on the team's unusual name, “Livin' Life with New Lungs,” and their bright green shirts with the logo “New Lungs-New Life.”
Thanks to a supportive staff, boar...
