I read with great concern the letter from Karen Brooks on being ignored when wanting to volunteer. Yes, it is hard to volunteer when you don’t know the people in the community. However, do not give up. From what I am understanding, there are many volunteer jobs open for Deutschesfest. One that I have done for many years is the motorcycle poker run.
