Weather delays pothole repairs

The state of streets in Odessa has been a topic of discussion at more than one town council meeting recently. Potholes are troublesome on some streets and nearly unavoidable on others.

This year’s record-breaking cold and wet spring has delayed repairs past Memorial Day. Town of Odessa Public Works Director Roger Sebesta says that several factors need to line up in order to fill the potholes, from warmer dry weather to availability of asphalt.
