Thursday, June 2, sentence was imposed on Odessa native Steve Finkbeiner by District Court Judge Josh Grant. Finkbeiner opted to plead guilty to three counts of third-degree theft, which led to the cancellation of the jury trial originally set for May 18.
Finkbeiner was originally charged in January of this year with five counts of third-degree theft dating to his tenure as EMT Coordinator for the Town of Odessa.

IOW, the town's people didn't want to throw their neighbor/friend/co-worker lifelong community member under the bus just because he hit a rough spot in his life? I heart Odessa.
