An alert Mattawa-area rancher has helped Grant County deputies catch two men after they allegedly stole about $6,000 worth of metal from his property.
About 4 a.m. June 10, a rancher living at 21954 County Road I-SW, saw a pickup truck and trailer enter his property and drive to an area where the rancher store equipment. The rancher later observed the pickup and trailer leaving his property loaded with metal and other materials.
