Believe it or not, I received a couple of telephone calls complimenting my “Magic Wand” epistle that you printed in the “Record” a short time ago. Sooooooo---I thought I would try another. This one is about laboring railroad trackmen who, somehow, were nick-named “gandy dancers,” while working on the extra gangs or section crews. The gandy always seemed to be looked down upon and never received credit for any of his hard work.
