Seattle-area youth scape paint form St. Matthew's Historic Church this past week as part of mission work they are engaged in over the summer.
Odessa's St. Matthew's Church is receiving at least the start of a facelift courtesy of a group of teeangers from Kent, Wash. The group began scraping peeling paint from the church's siding on Monday. Due to labor restrictions for workers under 16, they will not be able to complete the entire structure.
The senior high youth group from First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Kent is currently on week-long mission trips to three rural communities: Odessa, Potlatch, Ida. and Pilot Rock, Ore.
