Area residents garner awards at LC Fair

Grange

At the Lincoln County Fair, the Canniwai Grange booth prepared by Lise Ott of Irby took first place, and the Pomona Grange booth prepared by Gordon Peterson of Marlin took second place.

Round Robin

In the Round Robin event, in which youngsters in FFA and 4-H compete with animals other than those they normally exhibit (to show their expertise with an unfamiliar animal), Lexi Hirst of Harrington received the FFA large animal trophy in freshman/sophomore category. David Eldridge of Odessa took the small animal trophy in the 4-H juniors category.
