Titan girls win 1, lose 2, in last week's basketball action

O-H vs. Columbia (Hunters)

The team from Columbia High School in Hunters came to Harrington last week Tuesday to hand the Titans a lopsided loss.

Kendall Todd led the Titan scorers with 11. Jessie Whitaker had 3, and Rebekah Marshall, Chelsea Fisher and Jordyn Tanke all wound up with 2 points.

Columbia’s Krista Colvin scored 23 points, nearly half of her team’s total points.

Girls JV

The girls junior varsity game was only two quarters, as Columbia did not have enough girls to field a complete second team.

O-H vs. Valley Christian

Playing in Harrington last Friday against Valley Christian, the Titan girls got to be on the other end of a lopsided score, defeating their opponents by 40 points, 54-14. It was their second win of the season.

Scoring for the Titans was evenly spread out among most of the players, as Whitaker, Cydnee Kieffer and Fisher shared the lead with 8 apiece. Charli Moffet and Todd each had 7, Marshall and Carley Williams 6 each and Tanke 4. Also playing but not scoring were Hannah Schmidt, Ashley Baarstad, Katelyn Worley, Kaeli Schockley and Jenna Shafer.

There was no girls junior varsity game, as Valley Christian did not have enough girls to field another team.

O-H vs. ACH

Against the Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors in Odessa on Saturday, the Titans were pounded by an aggressive, skilled girls team. The Warriors won, 67-20.

Scoring for the O-H Titans was as follows: Moffett 2, Whitaker 6, Todd 4, Marshall 4, Schmidt 2, Williams 0, Kieffer 0, Baarstad 0, Fisher 2, Tanke 0.

Madeline Isaak of ACH led both teams in scoring with 18.

Girls JV

The girls junior varsity did not fare much better, but they did play a complete game. ACH won 42-15.
