Odessa Gun Club ends 2012 season with awards

The 94th annual Spokesman-Review Inland Northwest Trapshoot contest officially ended as of Sunday, February 26. The combined Marlin-Odessa teams finished in second place, one point behind the Colton Gun Club and one point ahead of Garfield-St. John in Division I.

The Odessa Gun Club finished out the season with an extra day of shooting March 4, including a few extra contests and individual rankings.

Landon Lobe, Jim Smith and Tyler Smith all turned in perfect scores of 25.

Nick Tebow and Ryan Lewis shot 24, and Randy Gies, Jared Praetorious, Steve Telecky, Doug Tebow, Tom Schuh, Andrew Holman and Traig Weishaar all shot 23.

Shooting 22 were Chris Phillips, Mike Nichols, Jr., Sam Greenwalt, Randy Gies, Markham Nichols, Mike Nichols, Sr. and William Mann.

Bryce Haase, Justin Hunt, Hailey Williams, Harley Wraspir and Garrett Braun all shot 21.

Shooting 20 and under were Colley Walter, Larry Weber, Nick Nelson, Cade Weber, Colton Hunt, Wyatt Haase, Hunter Bramer, Max Greenwalt, Carson Weber, Aaron Gies, Lane Lobe, Jaden Hunt, Camden Weber, Danielle Tebow, Rochelle Schuh, Pilot Weishaar, Brandon Larmer, Deanna Lobe, Caleb Singer and Nick Kuest.

The Doc Bonney award for High Average at 16 yards went to Landon Lobe. The Tony Williams award for High Overall went to Jared Praetorious, and the Art Grening award for High Handicap Average was won by Bryce Haase.
