INCIDENT LOG

Editor's note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

March 26: "Considerable" damage was reported as a result of a traffic collision on SR 2 west of Davenport.

Doors were reported broken on storage sheds on property on NE Adams Street in Creston.

A mobile home in the 36000 block of North Sky Vista Lane in Creston was reported vandalized and items missing.

A woman requested a deputy's help in connection with a harassment incident.

A man was taken into custody on suspicion of drunken driving after leaving the Oasis Tavern in Sprague.

Reardan Police investigated a local woman's harassment complaint.

March 27: Two cars collided at Tenth and Maxwell streets in Davenport with no injuries reported.

A deputy's presence was requested by the Superior Court staff as parties involved in a dissolution of marriage case became heated in the courtroom.

A woman told dispatchers she believed someone broke into her residence in the 1000 block of Park Street in Davenport.

A white truck pulling a trailer became stuck while trying to turn around near the intersection of SR 2 and Waukon Road.

Odessa Police responded to a report that two young girls had been "stranded" in Odessa by two boys they were with in a vehicle.

March 28: A Davenport woman reported her daughter had run away from home.

A woman in her early 20s wearing a red hoodie knocked on the door of a residence in the 200 block of North Laurel in Reardan and told the man who answered that she had a goal to meet 100 people. After he asked her to leave, he called Reardan Police which determined that she may have been involved with a company that "is involved in scamming people in Spokane."

March 29: Creston School personnel reported a student had been threatened on Facebook.

A vehicle swerved to miss a deer and went into a ditch on SR 174 near Wilbur.

Two vehicles collided at Seventh and Sinclair streets in Davenport. An ambulance was requested as one vehicle's airbag deployed.

A pile of garbage was illegally dumped on Hallett Road just west of Waukon Road.

A collision involving a vehicle and a deer was reported on SR 174 near Wilbur.

Odessa Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on SR 28 at the west end of Odessa.

March 30: A caller indicated concern that a group of Reardan High School athletes may have discovered pornographic materials on property along Alexander Road.

Mick's Auto in Davenport reported receiving an insufficient funds check for about $137.

A collision involving a vehicle and car occurred on SR 25 about six miles north of Davenport.

A Harrington man reported receiving several phone calls, including a collect call, from someone he doesn't know.

An Edwall woman reported a dog had been shot in the back leg near Polenske Road. She said that this was the third dog in a week to have been shot and that another of her dogs was missing.

March 31: An intoxicated man, about 25 years of age, appeared to be the victim of an assault when he showed up at the main gate of the Stumpjumpers Desert 100 event near Odessa.

A deputy responded to a report of an assault at the Oasis Tavern in Sprague.

A caller told dispatchers that an illegal burn barrel was in use at property on Moccasin Lane North.

April 1: A man asked for help from Davenport deputies as he planned to discuss substance abuse issues with his son.

MedStar air ambulance responded to assist an individual who was injured during the Stumpjumpers Desert 100 motorcycle races near Odessa.

Responding to a 911 call about an intoxicated driver on SR 2 near Davenport, deputies determined no alcohol was involved and the wind was to blame for the driver's erratic lane travel.

Deputies investigated a possible assault incident near the Harrington Foods store on Third Street.

Deputies assisted Reardan officers responding to a woman's call about a man who "just came up" to her bedroom window in the 100 block of East Railroad Avenue, "started yelling at her and throwing things into her yard."

Another illegal garbage dump was reported near the intersection of Hallett and Waukon roads.

Allen J. Kaiser, of Reardan, must return $285.82 in overpaid unemployment compensation to the Washington State Employment Security Department.

The court ordered that firearms rights be restored to Donald W. Lindberg, 37, effective March 26.

McKenna and Best (Doxie's Drive-In), of Wilbur, must pay $3,843.79 in taxes owed from October through December of last year to the Washington State Department of Revenue.

A default judgment in favor of Roosevelt Views Community Association requires respondent Island Breeze Investments, Inc., to pay $9,347.67 in a foreclosure matter.

New Juvenile Offender Matters

A 13-year-old Sprague boy is charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) in connection with a March 24 incident during which his mother was punched on her left shoulder and damage was done to doors and walls in the family home.

New Civil Cases

A Davenport woman, on behalf of her 13-year-old daughter, seeks a protection order against a seventh grade boy at Davenport Junior High School, alleging harassment of a sexual nature that occurred in February of this year. In her claim, the petitioner expresses concern about the school district's handling of the student and that the court had to become involved because district administrators and staff allegedly failed to provide "straight and complete" answers to questions about her child's safety at school.
