Museum opens Sunday

The Odessa Museum will open for the season on Memorial weekend Sunday and Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. On the following weekends throughout the summer and into September, it will be open on Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m.

A video of a slide program put together by Dr. John Gahringer is available for viewing on YouTube. The 30-minute program is titled "The Way We Were" and shows the early history and settlement of Odessa, along with the establishment of the museum.
