Fisher announces mailing of 2013 tax statements

Lincoln County Treasurer, Linda Fisher, has completed the 2013 tax roll for collection and is providing notification the Treasurer's Office shall now accept payment and issue receipts for the 2013 taxes as required by RCW 84.56.020.

2013 Lincoln County Tax statements are scheduled to be mailed the third week of February 2013.

Taxpayers who do not receive their statement need to contact the County Treasurer's Office, 450 Logan, Davenport, WA or (509) 725-5061 or etreasurer@co.lincoln.wa.us. Also, tax information may be accessed at http://www.co.lincoln.wa.us/treasurer.

First half taxes are due on or before April 30th. Payments postmarked or paid in person after April 30, 2013, will incur interest and penalties.

Delinquent real property taxes, weed and soil assessments and weed liens for 2010 and prior are subject to foreclosure. To avoid the start of foreclosure proceedings, payment must be received or postmarked by April 30, 2013.

Any taxpayer whose mortgage company has requested their tax statement will not receive a 2013 tax statement. The original statement is sent to your mortgage company. If you would like to know what your taxes are, search by name or parcel number at http://www.co.lincoln.wa.us/treasurer. You may also contact the Treasurer's Office at the courthouse, by phone or e-mail.
