Basketball practice starts; new season begins Dec. 5

Titan basketball practice for both the boys’ and girls’ teams started this past Monday, and the first game will be played December 5 in Davenport, with an away game in Wilbur following on Saturday, December 6. The first home games are against Lind/Ritzville/Sprague in Odessa on December 12 and against Wellpinit in Harrington on December 13.

Games are played throughout December and January and half- way through February. The state 1B basketball tournament will be played March 5-7 at the Spokane Arena, a change that began last year. Prior to that, the tournament was played in Yakima.

Team pictures for basketball will be taken by Leo’s of Spokane on December 8.

The Record’s winter sports page will be coming up in early December following the release of the team pictures by the photography studio.
