O-H basketball girls get two wins in play last weekend

The Odessa-Harrington Titan girls defeated Valley Christian High School of Spokane Valley by a score of 53 to 41 in a home game at Harrington last Friday, December 19.

Lanessa Simon had the hot hand, leading all scorers with 17 points. She also contributed 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 6 steals.

Shelbey Watkins had 11 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals; Katie DeWulf 10 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals; Jordyn Tanke 8 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals and Paige Alloway 7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Zoe Clark had 1 rebound and 1 assist, and Maleah Davison had 1 rebound.

The following Saturday, December 20, the Titans played an away game in Hunters against Columbia High School with the Titans coming out on top, 59-19.

DeWulf was hot on this night, pumping in 16 points and contributing 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a whopping 13 steals. Davison scored 11 points and had 5 rebounds. Simon, Tanke and Watkins each scored 8 points, with Simon also contributing 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 7 steals; Tanke 5 rebounds, 7 steals and Watkins 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 8 steals. Alloway had 6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals. Isabelle Phillips scored 2 points.
