The Frostbite/White Knuckle events held two weeks ago in Odessa featured at least three area participants. The results of those races have been posted on the Stumpjumpers’ website.
Taking part in the Frostbite short course in the 15-and-under category was Odessa High School freshman Patrick Valverde, who finished 12th, and in the Open C category was his father, Donald Valverde, who edged out his son by placing 11th in his own race.
On the White Knuckle short course, Odessa’s Sally Kagele finished fifth....
