New superintendent hired

The Odessa School Board has hired Dan Read as the new superintendent. He will begin his duties on July 1, 2015. Read is currently the superintendent of the Stevenson Carson School District in Skamania County. He will be moving to Odessa with his wife and nine-year-old son this summer. Prior to working in Stevenson Carson, he was superintendent of the Cusick School District. Dan Read will have a 170-day-a-year, part-time contract.
