Quilt show awards announced

More complete information is now available from the Odessa Quilt Club on activities surrounding the Spring Fling annual quilt show that took place April 24-25. As The Record reported last week, the Mayor's Award went to local quilter Patricia Gies for her work entitled Dreamy Hexagons.

Based on voting by visitors to the quilt show, the Favorite Large Quilt was entitled Basket Weaver and was made by Judy Main of Mattawa. The Favorite Wall Quilt was made by Ann Sanders of Spokane.
