Training to close streets Thurs.

On Thursday February 25, Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center will participate, along with Region 9 Healthcare Coalition members, in training of local staff members in how to respond in the event of a disaster. The training will take place from 12:30 p.m. through 5 p.m.

The intersection of Second Avenue and Fifth Street will be closed down during that period so that decontamination tents can be set up. Employees participating in the training may also be seen donning their decontamination suits.
